Bramhams of Buckingham Ireland Ltd is our sister company born about due to Brexit with previous connections to Wexford Horse Transport that came into ownership following merger in 2018. This partnership gives dual access to the United Kingdom & European Union, supported by Bramhams Bloodstock (Part of SK Imports) we are able to handle all aspects of international transport as the UK learns to trade outside of the Single Market.

Type 2 Authority: we have the required licenses for companies, vehicles and staff to transport horses over 8 hours, and also hold as an operators address the authority for other transport companies in both the UK & Ireland. From September 2021, transporters in the EU without UK Authority will require to apply and give a UK Operators address for access to Great Britain. This address goes beyond the safety of cargo, but also provides the UK & Irish Revenue a point of contact to secure or remove licenses, impose fines or seize assets. Due to the seriousness of this liability we are not providing residence for transporters seeking to import/export goods on a permanent basis. We are however willing to consider private individuals on a case by case scenario wishing to travel for the purposes of competition of pleasure. Our International Operators Licence is also in house. With changes coming in 2022 where smaller 3.5t vans are going to require tachographs we are allowing regular clients and known transporters a service to place their licence upon ours, whereby ensuring their operations are done so legally.

While our sister & bloodstock agencies don't directly impact our transport services, they do provide cost effective and quick answers to your customs & export certifications, allowing quick turn around times and ensuring your horse travels on direct and legal routes. This at heart is the company philosophy from where we originated, and that's to provide all horses in our care the best possible service. These days our care extends beyond those traveling on our own vehicles, whereby when we provide you the paperwork it will be the careful compromise between welfare and cost. Our compromise will always ensure the horses safety, but where costs can be saved with paperwork, then we seek to provide you the best possible deal.
